Biotic vs. Abiotic Tree Disorders
Biotic plant problems are caused by living organisms, such as bacteria, nematodes, viruses, fungi, insects, mites, and animals. Abiotic disorders are caused by non-living factors, such as freeze injury, chemical drift, drought stress, wind injury, sunscald, nutrient deficiency, or improper cultural practices, such as over watering or planting too deep. Unfortunately, the damage caused by these various living and non-living agents can appear very similar.Let our Arborists put their knowledge and experience to the job of identifying your tree's needs.
